We are living in a time of huge change, of a consciousness shift. The outer planets – Pluto, Neptune and Uranus are bringing great energies of change and transformation to assist us with the shift. By becoming aware of these energies, we can use them as tailwinds to transform our lives.  They are perfect to help us move forward in creating the life of our dreams.

Breakdowns for Breakthroughs

Pluto – the Great Transformer squares Uranus – the Great Awakener. As these two energies meet, they force issues to the surface to be dealt with and resolved.  This energy is available throughout the whole year, but will peak on June 24 and September 19.  Use this energy:

• To release old habits that have been difficult to release and that no longer serve you
• To express your authentic self
• Break away from the norm and make new beginnings

Dream the New, Dissolve the Old

Neptune, the planet of creativity, dreaming, spirituality, oneness, and unconditional love entered the sign of Pisces on February 3^rd and will stay there until 2025. Pisces is the sign of spirituality, intuition, unconditional love and high creativity. Use this energy to:

• Dissolve old attitudes, habits and beliefs that no longer serve you.
• Imagine, visualize, dream your new goals
• Do forgiveness work – use Radical Forgiveness or H’oponopono – to clear a space for your new goals to manifest
• Begin a meditation practice to support getting into a relaxed state to visualize your goals

Manifest the Life of Your Dream

A Great Triangle has formed in the sky between Jupiter, Mars and Pluto giving us harmony and flow as a tail wind so that manifesting is easier. The great triangle began in January and will end in June. Use this energy to:

• To set goals and get organized
• To bring the goals into being

Celebrate Abundance and Love

Venus is moving across the face of the Sun on June 5 & 6. This brings the energy of Love (Venus) and light (Sun) together to express as unconditional love and oneness. Do a ceremony on that day to celebrate the love, light, and abundance in your life.

We have very powerful astrological energies this year that can assist us to shift our consciousness in to a higher vibration to match the New Consciousness on the New Earth. Learning about them and using them consciously is a great way to live in the flow.

For you who live here in Tampa, you may want to connect with The New Beginnings Oneness Center to meet with like minded people for celebration and support in moving into the New Consciousness. This is where I go on Sunday morning for upliftement, plus I speak there occasionally and lead ceremonies to celebrate special astrological alignments. You will also find many articles on their site speaking to the shift we are going through.  I find surrounding myself with like minded people is a great way to make my life’s journey easier.

New Saros Cycle

This solar eclipse is quite unusual as it is the very first eclipse of a family of 72 eclipses that will take 1200 years to complete.  Every 18 years, an eclipse associated with this “mother” eclipse will occur. The series, know as a Saros Cycle, will end in 3237. This new series is number 156 according to the van den Bergh naming system (astronomy) and 13 New South according to the Jansky naming system (astrology). Birthing of a new Saros cycle is certainly symbolic of a huge new beginning.

Evolutionary Grand Square

During this eclipse a special geometric configuration called a Grand Square will occur.  This simply means that three other planets will lend their dynamic energies to the sun and moon forming a square in the sky.   The helping planets are: Uranus, shaking us out of the old rut into a new beginning, Saturn, giving us the discipline to more forward into a new paradigm and Pluto, helping us to evaporate our fears and own our power.  The primal energies of this eclipse support huge endeavors and extraordinary achievement or change.  The theme of this powerful solar eclipse is a complete transformation in some area of our life.

Altar

This will be the concluding ceremony of the three and will anchor in the energies in a powerful way. Here are suggestions for how to set up your altar and conduct your ceremony.

You will want your altar to feel strong, powerful and grounded to the earth.  Use greens, browns and black. You may also want to place fresh flowers, fruit or veggies on your altar to bring in Earth energy.  Place your sacred objects on the altar and add a symbol of Mother Earth or the Divine Mother. This will align you with the strong Cancer nurturing energies present in this eclipse.

Recreate the square in the sky on your altar with four candles or four stones. Here are suggested colors for the four points, however use your intuition to decide:  Aries/Uranus – red for fire, Cancer/ Sun & Moon – black for water, Libra/Saturn – white for air and Capricorn/Pluto – green for earth.

Ceremony

Go into your meditative or prayerful state, call on your spiritual helpers as you did the last two times.  Review the intention you set with the first eclipse and the script you wrote at the second eclipse.  Now move around each point of the square.

1.    Uranus/Red – Start with the red candle or stone and connect with the changes you are willing to make to live your new intention. Write these down.

2.    Moon & Sun/Black – Go to the black candle or stone and see yourself nurturing with gentleness and kindness your intention and yourself. Symbolically place yourself and your intention in a safe, warm, cozy womb. Write down how you will nurture yourself to grow into your new intention.

3.    Saturn/White – Move to the white candle or stone and notice what new thoughts and beliefs you need to embrace to support your change. Write these down.

4.    Pluto/Green – Finish at the green candle or stone. Feel powerful energy from the Earth Mother flow up your legs. See yourself taking the action you need to take to transform your life and live in the new intended paradigm you have chosen. Write these down.

5.    Commitment – Now sign and date the commitments that you wrote today. Place them on your altar blessing them with a feeling of gratitude for the soul growth you are experiencing. Be thankful for these amazing times of the consciousness shift as we create a New Earth.

End your ceremony by thanking your spiritual helpers and releasing them.  Send a blanket of love out to our precious Earth Mother and feel a deep connection with all beings on our planet knowing we are all One!

The June 15th Lunar Eclipse marks the middle of the summer eclipse series. We are in a month of intense energies from eclipses, the summer solstice and the Mayan Calendar.  Eclipses serve as portals or doorways to higher consciousness so we have a golden opportunity to increase our vibration. You may have noticed how fast your life seems to be moving. Changes that used to take years or months are now happening in weeks or days.

I have found that ceremonies are an effective way to attune to the eclipse and summer solstice energies. They bring cleansing, celebration, and realignment as we move through life transitions. They open us to the rhythms of nature, to our intuition and center us in the now. They satisfy an inner longing for ritual and connection to each other and the Earth.

Everyone can perform their own ceremony. It does not require a spiritual leader or special talents. It simply involves opening your heart and mind to what is present.

Altars

For my ceremonies, I always set up at altar to focus the energy. Altars can hold energy and definitely do have “extra powerful energies.” Here is a story that dramatically demonstrates that. During my Feng Shui training with Denise Linn, I set up an altar and lead a ceremony for our group. On the altar, I placed 4 hibiscus flowers in each of the four directions. I did not put them in water as it was a fairly short ceremony and I knew they would last. This was in the morning.

We decided to leave the altar in place for the evening session and go into Monterey for the day. When we returned that evening and looked at the altar (about 8 hours later), to our astonishment, the hibiscus flowers had not wilted! We could not believe our eyes. Hibiscus flowers are delicate and usually fade in a short time. The very powerful chi energy of the altar held the life force in the flowers. This experience taught me the power of altars for holding and focusing energy.

Setting Up An Altar

Here are basic directions for setting up an altar. It can be as simple as placing a beautiful scarf or cloth napkin on your coffee table or outside in a beautiful natural setting , then placing meaningful objects on it. Put a candle, crystal, or sacred symbol such as a spiritual figurine or a Goddess in the center. Place other items on the altar that uplift you. Often I place a candle or crystal in each of the four directions.

Intention

Every ceremony should have an intention or focus. To prepare for your ceremonies this month, you’ll want to select an intention if you have not already. You may want to look again at my post on the eclipses to review their meanings. The theme of the whole series of eclipses is to let go of old beliefs and embrace new ones . Ask yourself what is calling to you now or what do you need to see with new eyes in order to be more aligned with the life you want to create. Allow your intuition to lead you.

Sacred Intention Object

Now find a special object that represents your new intention. You’ll use that object throughout the month in your ceremonies and later to keep you on track.

For example, a rose quartz would be good if your intention involves love. A green stone, special coins or even your wallet (yes you wallet is sacred!) would be good if you are dealing with finances. If your intention involves a healthy body, a picture of the new body you are trying to create would be good. Be creative. Let your intuition tell you what to use.

You’ve made the first step toward performing your ritual. Begin now to plan time for a ceremony on all or one of these June 15, June 21 or July 1. In my next post I will give instructions for the June 15 eclipse ceremony.

We have a power packed eclipse series happening this month. It is an opportunity to step into higher consciousness and to create a New Earth.   Normally we would have just two eclipses at a time but this summer there are three. The normal pattern is one solar eclipse and one lunar eclipse that occur 2 weeks apart. The extra solar eclipse creates a four week period of powerful energies for making significant life changes.  All of this is coupled with the last wave of the Mayan Calendar, which causes us to feel as if time is speeding. The summer solstice on June 21 occurs also in this month adding to the intense energies.

A Solar eclipse happens when the moon lines up with the sun in the sky.  As the moon comes between the sun and the Earth it disrupts the flow of energies streaming from the sun.  Light encodes information and this disruption creates a reboot or reorganization in our consciousness. Often with Solar Eclipses, we experience new beginnings.

With a Lunar Eclipse, the moon moves through the shadow of the earth activating the unconscious mind.  Feelings, memories and past experience may surface.  Often information will come to light that causes us to change. To help you move through this powerful time with purpose, I have given a description of the energies unfolding in each of the eclipses. 

Summer Eclipses:

June 1 Solar Eclipse – The first eclipse occurred on June 1 in the sign of Gemini. The zodiac sign Gemini deals with the mind and thinking process. This eclipse caused you to examine your thoughts, beliefs and paradigms.  We know that as we go about creating our reality, the focus of our thoughts and feelings are what create our world.  This eclipse dealt specifically with old paradigms and old ways of thinking that needed to go. The theme of this eclipse was to examine and let go of old beliefs that are creating realities that do not serve us.

 June 15 Lunar Eclipse – The second eclipse occurs on June 15 at 4:14 pm EDT in the sign of Sagittarius. This eclipse takes the thinking process to a higher level allowing us to see a bigger truth. The sign of Sagittarius deals with expansion, seeing the big picture, and questing for a higher truth.  The Galactic Center, which is even more expansive, is located in Sagittarius very close to this eclipse, so again we are being stretched to see a much bigger picture than our human mind has been able to in the past. Part of working with the energies of this eclipse is to ask where we have been deceiving ourselves so we can take our heads out of the sand.  The theme of this eclipse is to replace the old beliefs you released with a much bigger picture.

July 1 Solar Eclipse – The third eclipse occurs on July 1 at 4:54 am EDT in the sign of Cancer. This last eclipse of the series is definitely the finale.  This solar eclipse is very dynamic as three other planets lend their energies to the sun and moon during the eclipse. The planets create a square in the sky releasing very transformational energies giving us a tailwind to bring our bigger picture into reality. The helping planets are: Uranus, shaking us out of the old rut into a new beginning, Saturn, giving us the discipline to more forward into our new paradigm and Pluto, helping us to evaporate our fears and own our power.  The theme of this powerful solar eclipse is a complete transformation in some areas of our life.

The affect of eclipses are neither good nor bad. Just a focus of intense energy that you can use in any way you choose. Using it intentionally with awareness is the ideal way to move through this summer.

 Have you noticed how strong the energies for change are right now?  We are in a two week period that is hemmed in by a lunar eclipse (June 25) and a solar eclipse (July 11).  Between these two eclipses is a period of intensified energy.  The powerful eclipse energies combined with the rare dance of three outer planets see Planetary Dance Causing Consciousness Shift is really amping up the energies out there.

Spawning Eureka’s

It’s an opportunity to experience two benefits. The first one is the ability to have amazing Eureka’s and ah-ha’s right on the spot.  Your intuition, creativity and understanding are so expanded that you can have spontaneous insights about things you have pondered for years. Wow! That has been happening for me since the first eclipse.  Just this morning I had a Eureka about how things manifest. Now, I have understood and worked with these principles for years, but today it all fell together in one big overview picture… with tips even, on how to steer around obstacles.

Handle Your Unhandled Issues

The other benefit is the ability to change on a dime. We are being prodded to raise our vibrations by releasing old stuck energies from our energy fields (aura, chakras, and meridians). These energies seem to hone in on old issues that have gone on forever and one’s where you have your head firmly planted in the sand. Know what I mean??  Things you have foolishly ignored hoping they would go away.  Those are the things I am talking about!   

Personally I have decided to be proactive and make a list of my “head in the sand” issues and tick them off one by one until each one is out of my life. The good news is with this approach, you get to be in the driver’s seat, even though painful.  The bad news is, if you aren’t proactive, the universe chooses for you, then it still may be painful, but now you feel like a victim.

Universe is Good and on Your Side!  

So why not take advantage of these intensified energies to handle old stuff and to embrace yummy new ah ha’s.  Actually, you will have the whole summer to do this. After we move through this eclipse period, we still have the benefits from the planetary dance of Pluto, Saturn and Uranus that indeed is more intense this summer, but will actually go on into next year.

 Bottom line is the universe is good and on your side! It is supporting you with tailwind energies to release those old relationships that aren’t working, job that makes you miserable, spending habits that keep you stuck or health problems that damage your quality or life. The amazing life of your dreams is knocking at your door.

Have you noticed how your psychic abilities seem to be sharper and how out of nowhere you have flashes of knowing? And is this surprising or even a little unsettling when you just “know” things about people, maybe even things you’d prefer not to know? And have you had premonitions or dreams that have come true? This may feel a little uncomfortable and you may be wondering what happened to the old you that you could count on to know how life would look each day. This is all part of the natural evolution that is happening as you evolve into a new kind of human.

As we move toward 2012, and especially this summer, our vibrations rise and we embody more traits of the new human, homo luminous.  One of these traits is our natural intuitive and psychic abilities. We begin to realize what awesome beings we are – that we have our own answers right inside in the form of wisdom and inner knowing. As the New Earth births, we will become more and more dependent on ourselves for the answers – NO MORE GURUS!!

You may think, “Fine idea, but how do I call forth this inner wisdom? How do I learn to use my intuition? I need answers I can trust. I can’t just be intuitive one day”. 

One of the advantages of these intense times we are living in – see Planetary Alignment Causing Consciousness Shift - is that there are some special energies that increases your intuition and psychic abilities naturally.  It’s as if there is a tailwind enlivening your intuition. This tailwind involves Uranus which activates eureka kind of intuition and sudden flashes of brilliance, and Pluto which develops deep knowing and the ability to look below the surface and read people at their core. Jupiter, which is also involved, brings access to deep universal truths. So we are now being given an opportunity to develop our intuition naturally.

Here is a technique for helping you become your own guru. It comes from David Morrelli who  just finished a series of free online teleclasses that help  enhance intuition. You can access those on his web site. 

Rose Intuition Technique

This technique allows you to get yes/no answers from your intuition. The gist of it is to allow your mind’s eye to see a rose that represents yes, and one that represents no. For example, my yes rose is a beautiful, fresh looking red rose. My no rose is a pink faded wilting rose. I simply ask a yes/no question, then one of the roses will appear in my mind’s eye. It can even show degrees of yes and no.  Once the yes answer was so strong, I saw sparkles of light around the rose and another time the no answer was such a definite no that the pink rose was not only wilted, but also drooping over.  I have found this technique to be very simple and accurate.  The more I use it, the more it seems to work.

So as you morph into the new human, you’ll become more intuitive and there will be no need for looking outside yourself for answers.  The New Consciousness on the New Earth will no longer support you giving your power away to authority figures who “know more than you do”. Those days are rapidly disappearing and we are moving into a time of NO MORE GURUS!

Body Painted Cyclist

The Earth is an alive sentient being with cycles of aliveness expressed as the solstices and the equinoxes.  On the New Earth, we will be very much aware of these and will celebrate them through ceremonies of joy, creativity and connectedness. Yesterday I had just such an experience.  It was so much fun and such a good way to honor the earth and be joyful that I am using this post to share some photos and themes I noticed in the celebration.

Freedom  To Be Peculiar! 

The event was the Summer Solstice Fair in Seattle’s Fremont district. This annual event has the motto, “De Libertas Quirkas” – Freedom to be Peculiar! which it definitely lived up to. A high point of the whole Fair is the Fremont Solstice Parade which is both peculiar and eclectic.   This earth friendly parade was non commercial – no logos allowed  - and had no motorized vehicles – all floats are powered by humans  pushing and pulling  them.

Their brochure says the parade celebrates the longest day of the year through profound street theater, public spectacle and a kaleidoscope of joyous human expressions. Sure sounds like the New Earth to me. Here are the highlights:

Flower Lady

The parade starts with the peculiar which I think qualifies as a  public spectacle.  A large group of men and women ride through the streets on bicycles  dressed only in body paint. And wow! what an expression of artistry and creativity. There is everything from flower covered bodies to zebra body art and glittery angels and fairies.

A huge yellow submarine  rolled up the street accompanied by the happy go lucky Beatle’s song, We all Live in a Yellow Submarine.  To me this represents living in joy and being a kid. And if you were quick, you could have your picture taken in a rolling wood cut out of the Beatles. On the spot, be John, Ringo, George or Paul!

 

The Flying Spaghetti Monster   

 If you wanted to have community and connection with other solstice celebrants, you could lay in the street while a huge 20 foot beach ball rolled over you. Then there were representations of diverse religious views  – angels, pagan’s and the flying spaghetti monster.  Diversity was reflected every place in the parade – a clear acceptance of all views and all people. This is how we will think on the New Earth.

Free Hugs

 And finally there was love and peace for all.   A group who gave free hugs, mingled with the crowd giving hugs to anyone who wanted one.  One man had a tree branches on his body – he was a ’ tree hugger’ – double duty there. You could get a hug and hug a tree at the same time.  Yes, a true expression of the New Earth – where we are all one and know it. Then there were three peace flags furled in the wind – a statement of what we want for all beings on the planet.

The actual solstice happens on Monday, so even though you may not have something as unique as this to do, I encourage you  to celebrate the solstice in your own way.

As we move toward next week now is a good time to begin to prepare for the special energies headed our way on Monday, June 21, when the summer solstice occurs. This is one of Gaia’s seasonal cycles and honoring the cycles of the Earth is one way to acknowledge her aliveness and becoming more in sync with her.  More than any other time in history we are being called by Gaia’s spirit to acknowledge her aliveness.

Summer Solstice

As the Earth moves through her seasonal cycles, she expresses a certain energy that relates to that part of the cycle.   In New Earth: Calendars & Seasonal Cycles, I compare the four seasonal starting points to the cycles of a plant’s growth. The summer solstice represents the peaking of the cycle which the plants express as bursting forth with flowers.  Ralph Waldo Emerson said it best – the Earth laughs in flowers.

The Earth’s laughter – these flowers – shower us with their beautiful colors, smells and energy of aliveness.  Have you noticed that when you bring a bouquet of fresh flowers into the room, it lifts the energy of the room?  This is because the life force energy, known as chi, is so strong in flowers.  It is actually concentrated in the flowers, so much so, that this high energy can actually be collected through a special process and made into flower essences. These essences can be used to heal our bodies and minds. The most well known ones are the the Bach essences.   A favorite of mine are the Alaskan Essences.

The Earth gifts us this time of year with these special high energies that we can enjoy in a bouquet or we can use for healing.  So as Gaia laughs, she gifts us with her aliveness, her chi that is now in the flower.  Flower essences are a gift of healing from Gaia.

Sentient Being

So connect with this joy of the Earth laughing and feel your heart open.  Imagine smelling a flower, and then bring to mind scenes from beautiful places on the Earth you have visited. Just allow these scenes and feelings to connect you to a knowing that the Earth is an awesome, amazing, sentient being. Revel in the awe of this special being.  Savor this deeply so it is really anchored in your body’s knowing.

With this knowing, allow yourself to get in touch with what your heart calls you to do to honor Gaia and show appreciation for all she does to sustain life. Maybe you want to go green, recycle, be more aware of how your spending and investing affects the Earth, or simply just get out in nature more and connect with her energy of aliveness, all the while expressing appreciation.

Love Our Mother – the Earth

If every human on the planet could connect with this energy of the Earth, each would be motivated from an inner place in their hearts to honor her sacred body.  There would be no oil spills, no polluting the land and rivers because it would be an unbearable thing to do – no human’s heart could stand the pain of doing that.  This is the New Consciousness.  This is how a New Earth will be birthed and this how the new human, homo luminous, will live in love with its Mother – the Earth.

I’ve been writing a good bit about the intense energies unfolding right now and I want to make sure we don’t lose sight of what they are all about.  They are the impetus for birthing a new species of human, Homo Luminous, that is the new YOU!

 I know many of us are feeling pretty uncomfortable right now and I want to point out that because of the nature of human beings, this is the only way to create the extreme changes that must happen if we are to evolve in to new humans.  Truly, how do you make changes?  Do you change your behavior because you think it is a good idea, you’d be happier or it would be good for you???? Well, you’d like to I am sure. But truth is, most humans change when things are so uncomfortable that change is the only option left.   So that is what is going on right now.  Our soul intention is to become the new human (or we would not be on the planet right now) so spirit, the universe, powers that be, whatever you call it is helping us to achieve our intention.

I do think, however, that the more you become informed through information like this, the more you are able to create change from a place of choice and ease rather than have if forced on you.  I have found that to be true for me.  Some areas that I don’t have a lot of “ stuff” around, I can use one of the many tools available and create change sometimes without a lot of effort.  Other areas where I am more stuck, in denial or plain ole “don’t want to deal with it” – well, then I get a little help from the universe.

So I want to share some things that have worked for me. 

Find a tool that you like and get really good at using it.  Here are some that I have tried and I know work – Ho’oponopono, Byron Katie’s  The Work, The Sedona Method and EFT.

EFT is the one I like because it is powerful and can be used easily.  Here are two excellent resources:

Carol Look’s website –  to learn how to use EFT  for most any issue,  browse her newsletter archive.

Find a buddy or two to help you stay on track. I have two very dear friends that I connect with once a week on a conference call.  Their support has been major for helping me stay on track.  I even do a phone tapping (EFT) session several times a week with one of them.

Spend 10 minutes a day being fully present in the now.  Do this in a way that you love and look forward to.  When you first start you may want to use a timer. I lie in my hammock under a big tree and just be with the leaves, limbs and sky. Just connecting, looking and being.  No planning what to do next, no worrying about what ever isn’t working, no  multitasking of any kind – just  notice whatever is around you, hear the sounds, smell the smells – just be there fully present to what is.  The first time I did this, I was shocked to find that I could not remember when I had last just “done nothing”.  It was freeing, it was peaceful, and it was bliss for the brain!

So to make the process easier, try one or all three of these suggestions and watch the overwhelm melt away.  Let’s make the birthing process as easy as possible. Since we are all connected through the zero point field, when we make it easier for ourselves, we make it easier for everyone else.
